Charging station

Off-board Charging station (september 2016)

This vehicle has been studied on purpose for the mobility Home-Work and Home-School. It does not need a public charging column, but it must its own Charging station,
installed at home, or in the school-parking, or in the company-parking.

The included offboard Carging station 0,2 C makes the slow recharging (advised).
Upon request also offboard Charging stations for medium recharging (0,4 C) and fast recharging (0,6 C) are available.

According to our studies, the charging columns installed along public roads are not yet a reality. Electrical is different because the technology of the batteries is not ready yet to have short charging times, without decreasing heavily its cycle life and without needing a high power of the charging electrical network connection.

This is why the electrical car today (at affordable costs) can only be a City-car which goes to sleep at home during the night and has 4-5 hours to recharge.

But the battery-technology makes fast progress. We can discuss again after a few years about the fast charging and therefore about the columns along public roads.


On-board Charging station (february 2018)

This vehicle has been studied on purpose for the mobility Home-Work and Home-School.

With this sytem the charging station is inside the car:
the Main Charging Point is at HOME,
the Secondary Charging Point could be in the school's parking place, in the company's parking place or also in the eventual public charging column.

According to our studies, the charging columns installed along public roads are still not a reality. Electrical is different because the technology of the batteries is not ready yet to have short charging times, without decreasing its cycle life and mainly without needing a high power of the charging point.
Luckily, we do not need the public charging columns.

Our car goes to sleep at home during the night and has 4-5 hours to recharge.

Today we strongly advise you to make the slow recharge when possible, because a fast recharge reduces drastically the cycle life of the batteries.

Differently to the Off-board charging station, the On-board charging station needs only a charging point of 230V, one phase; which means a comon electrical socket.
